BALLPARK ACCESS AND HOURS OF OPERATION
- Media may enter the ballpark no earlier than three hours prior to first pitch. Media with season credentials may enter at the front gate and those with single-game credentials must first pick up their credential at the ticket office in the front of the stadium. If you have a special request, please reach out to Jake Starr.
- The pressbox closes 60 minutes following the final out of the game. Media must leave the ballpark at this time.
WORKING MEDIA AREAS
- The number of media allowed in the press box is limited. This space is open on a first come first served basis. Overflow media may sit in the auxiliary press box if it is not being occupied.
- Photographers/Media Members are not permitted to enter the playing field or clubhouse.
APPLYING FOR CREDENTIALS
- Season credentials will be issued to outlets who cover the R-Phils on a consistent bases for legitimate news organizations. To apply for a season credential, please email Jake Starr prior to the beginning of the season.
- To apply for a single-game credential, email Jake Starr at [email protected] no less than 48 hours prior to the game you plan to cover. There will be no exceptions or walk ups allowed.
- The R-Phils media relations staff will approve credentials based on compliance with Minor League Baseball’s guidelines. Those who apply for credentials, must work for a legitimate news organization.
INTERVIEWS
- All interviews must be coordinated with Jake Starr. To coordinate an interview, please email no less than 24 hours before to schedule an interview.
- In-person interviews will be conducted at an agreed upon time at FirstEnergy Stadium. There will be no off-site interviews.
- To schedule an interview via phone, please reach out to Jake Starr to schedule.
- The Manager will be available following the game for covering media. If you would like to speak to a player postgame, please let a member of the media relations staff know by the seventh inning of the game you are covering.
MEDIA DINING
- Media are permitted to bring their own food to the ballpark or eat at the R-Phils team feed. The press box will serve hot dogs and sodas throughout the game.
PRESS MATERIALS
- The pressbox will provide updated rosters, lineup sheets and box scores. Daily game notes will be emailed and can be accessed online at rphils.com/pressbox. Also available online is the 2023 Media Guide, History Book, daily game notes and more.
- If a member of the media wishes to have a printed copy of game notes or stat packs, please let a member of the media relations staff know.
