North Little Rock, AR—The Amarillo Sod Poodles rallied past the Arkansas Travelers to take a 6-5 win in 10 innings on Sunday afternoon. The game was back and forth over the final four innings with multiple scoring rallies from both sides. Ultimately, Amarillo claimed victory after scoring in each of their final three at-bats of the game. Taylor Rashi was the winning pitcher after throwing two perfect innings to close the game. Travis Kuhn took the loss despite not allowing an earned run over two frames.

Moments That Mattered

* Arkansas missed a chance to extend their lead in the seventh inning when they had runners at first and third with one out. With the runner at first going with the pitch, a lineout to right field turned into an inning ending double play.

* A single and a throwing error put the tying run at third in the ninth for Amarillo and they capitalized, scoring on a fielder’s choice ground ball.
