Canal Park A-to-Z



Canal Park was designed to be universally accessible and comfortable for fans with disabilities.


Canal Park is located in the heart of the Downtown Akron at 300 South Main Street, Akron, OH 44308.


Fans can purchase tickets by calling the Canal Park box office at 330-253-5153. The box office is open on non-game days Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and closed on weekends. During Monday through Saturday home game dates, the box office will open from 10 a.m. until the end of the game. On Sunday home dates, it will open at 11 a.m. until the end of the game. Tickets are not available for purchase in the Canal Park team store. Tickets are available online at


For those who would like to consume alcoholic beverages, they are available at concession stands throughout Canal Park, as well as portable beverage stands. There is a limit of two alcoholic beverages per person (per trip to the concessions stands). Alcohol beverage sales on the will stop at the conclusion of the seventh inning. You must be 21 year of age to consume alcohol.


Animals are not allowed at Canal Park with the exception of certified service dogs for the disabled or the specified "Bark in the Park Days."


Fans can submit birthdays, anniversaries, and other special announcements at Akron-Canton Airport Guest Services (located behind section 12) by the top of the fourth inning. A limited number of announcements will be accepted each night, and they will be announced over the PA between the 7th and 9th innings. A $10 donation is required for all messages, and the RubberDucks reserve the right to edit and/or prohibit any message that is deemed inappropriate.


There is a reverse ATM located next to Akron-Canton Airport Guest Services on the main concourse, behind section 12. This will easily convert cash into a prepaid card that can be used anywhere in the ballpark.


Fans are welcome to seek autographs before and after (not during) RubberDucks games, as long as they are not in someone else's seats or occupying an area needed to stay clear (aisles, main stadium walkways).



Changing stations are located in every restroom at Canal Park.


All bags are subject to inspection prior to entering the ballpark. This includes camera bags, computer bags, binocular cases and electronic equipment. Purchasing a ticket means you consent to the search. Please be aware that these policies may cause slight delays entering Canal Park. See PROHIBITED ITEMS.


Canal Park's administrative office is located on-site at Canal Park and open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Our phone number is (330) 253-5151.



Cameras and video recorders are allowed at Canal Park as long as they do not obstruct the view of others.


Children age three and under may be admitted to RubberDucks games without a ticket, but need to sit in the lap of an accompanying adult. Children ages four and above, or that need a seat, require a ticket.


Akron RubberDucks management is committed to creating a safe, comfortable and enjoyable experience for all guests. Our staff will proactively intervene to support a family-oriented environment where all guests can enjoy the entertainment experience free from the following behaviors:

· Foul or abusive language or obscene gestures.

· Any disruption of the game by a guest's actions or unauthorized entrance on the playing field or restricted areas.

· Intoxication or other signs of impairment, while entering or enjoying Canal Park.

· Obscene or indecent clothing.

· Guests seated in a location other than their ticketed seat.

If someone interferes with your enjoyment of a game, please contact a RubberDucks representative or visit Akron-Canton Airport Guest Services located behind section 12.


The Akron RubberDucks offer a variety of concession options for our fans. There are six main concession stands that serve ballpark fare including:

· The Sock Hop Ice Cream Shoppe

· Godfather's Kitchen

· Taters

· The Dog Pound

· Bier Garten

· Jobu's Craft Brews

Also on Thirsty Thursdays, there will be two portable draft beer locations serving $2 beer on the first and third base sides on the concourse. $2 soda/pop will be available at all stands equipped with fountain service.


MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover are accepted at ticket windows, concessions and merchandise locations.


In accordance with Eastern League rules: cans, bottles, beverages, food, and coolers are prohibited from being brought into the stadium.




From Cleveland:
I-77 South to Route 59 East. Exit at Exchange/Cedar and turn right onto Cedar. Go to Main Street, turn left and ballpark is on the left. Or Route 8 South to Perkins Street exit, turn right off exit, follow to South High Street, turn left, follow to State Street, turn right, go one block to ballpark.

From Canton:

I-77 North to Main/Downtown exit. Follow to Broadway Street, turn left on Exchange Street, right at Main Street, ballpark is on the left.

From Youngstown:

I-76 West to Main/Downtown exit. Follow to Broadway Street, turn left on Exchange Street, right at Main Street, ballpark is on the left.

From Medina/Wooster/Mansfield:

I-76 East to 59 East. Exit at Exchange/Cedar and turn right onto Cedar. Go to Main Street, turn left and ballpark is on the left.

Being situated in a downtown ballpark, the Akron RubberDucks do not own or control any parking lots. However, parking at City of Akron of Akron owned lots is $2 after 6:00 PM in Downtown Akron, Monday through Thursday in all City of Akron operated lots and parking decks and free after 6:00 PM Friday and all-day Saturday and Sunday.



Canal Park features one elevator, located inside the Suite Level entrance. Guests are required to present a Suite Level ticket to access the elevator.


In the event of an emergency, RubberDucks personnel have been trained and instructed to assist guests in evacuating Canal Park.


Fans can exit and re-enter Canal Park at any time as long as they have their ticket. When exiting or re-entering, please present your ticket to one of the Game Day Employees at the gate to have them mark your ticket for re-entry.



First-aid is available at Canal Park. Please see an usher or visit Akron-Canton Airport Guest Services located behind section 12 to be escorted to a first-aid attendant.


Located on the main concourse behind Section 12 at Canal Park, Akron-Canton Airport Guest Services features team and ballpark information, first-aid assistance, on-field contest sign-ups, ticket information and more. Please see a Akron-Canton Airport Guest Services representative for any questions you may have during your Canal Park visit.


Flex Plans are a great way to enjoy RubberDucks Baseball all season in 10 and 20 ticket combinations. Both plans provide the flexibility to choose the games and seats you want to attend. Also, specific game tickets may be reserved in advance through your account executive, calling the box office or at the game. Advance game and seat selection is recommended and tickets are guaranteed up to 24-hours before a game.

Public Gates typically open one (1) hour prior to game time. Gates open 1 hour and 30 minutes before on Fridays and Saturdays between May 31 and September 14. The Suite Level entrance is for Suite holders and their guests only and opens two (2) hours before.


The RubberDucks policy is to distribute one giveaway item per eligible fan entering Canal Park. An eligible fan is a fan that meets advertised age limits or other requirements. Extra tickets for a game may not be redeemed for giveaway items. One (1) giveaway per ticketed fan; Limited to the first 1,000 fans.

Bobblehead Giveaway Policy - The first 1,000 fans through the Summa Health (Main St & Buchtel Ave) and Union Home Mortgage (Main & State Sts) gates will receive our one-of-a-kind bobblehead giveaway items. Fans who purchased the guaranteed bobblehead giveaway package must enter through Bridgestone Gate (located in left field by Akron Children's Hospital) to receive their guaranteed giveaway item. No other bobblehead giveaways will be given at this gate. If you did not purchase the guaranteed bobblehead giveaway package and would like your chance at being one of the first 1,000 fans, you must enter through the Summa Health or Union Home Mortgage gates. These are the only giveaway eligible entrances.

Handicapped parking is available in the lot across the street from the Administrative Offices entrance. Handicapped seating is available throughout the ballpark along most of the top rows of each section.



Unfortunately, injuries at the ballpark do occur. Fans in need of medical attention should inform a police officer and/or a RubberDucks staff member immediately. Emergency medical service is available at the AMR First Aid room, located behind section 12 on the main concourse near Akron-Canton Airport Guest Services.



Lost and found items should be turned into Akron-Canton Airport Guest Services. At the end of each night, all unclaimed items will be stored in the RubberDucks front office. Fans can call the RubberDucks front office at 330.253.5151 to retrieve lost items.

Official RubberDucks merchandise is available at the Team Shop located down the first base line. Souvenirs are also available in-game at the third base kiosk and at the kiosk on the Suite Level. The Team Shop is always open online at Team Shop hours on non-gamedays can be found by visiting here.



For the safety and security of our fans, outside food & beverage (including bottled water and peanuts) cannot be brought inside Canal Park.



Being situated in a downtown ballpark, the Akron RubberDucks do not own or control any parking lots. However, parking at City of Akron of Akron owned lots is $2 after 6:00 PM in Downtown Akron, Monday through Thursday in all City of Akron operated lots and parking decks and free after 6:00 PM Friday and all-day Saturday and Sunday.

Food, beverages, weapons of any kind (even with a concealed weapons permit) knives, containers such as coolers or thermoses, lawn chairs, banners or signs that are not in the spirit of the event or that obstruct the view of others, animals other than service animals, compressed air horns are all prohibited at Canal Park. RubberDucks management reserves the right (at its sole discretion) to prohibit any items it deems unacceptable.



Personal radios and handheld television sets are permitted inside Canal Park. The RubberDucks flagship station is 640 WHLO, Akron's News & Talk.


All RubberDucks home and away games are broadcast on 640 WHLO, Akron's News & Talk and via the website, with broadcasters Jim Clark, who has been a play-by-play announcer for the franchise since 1990, and Marco LaNave, who joined the broadcast team in 2019, after seven years with two other minor league teams.


If the game is postponed due to weather conditions and not deemed a complete game by reaching the minimum innings necessary, the ticket bearer may exchange their ticket for a future regular season game of their choice, excluding concerts and special events. Fans are entitled to a ticket price of same or lesser value, subject to availability. All transactions must take place at the RubberDucks box office with the qualifying ticket. No monetary refunds are given.


There are three men's, four women's and two family restroom locations on the main concourse. There are two men's, and two women's restroom located on the Suite Level.



Tickets may not be resold on the property of Canal Park or in the parking areas that surround it and tickets associated with such transactions are subject to confiscation.


Capacity is 7,630.


Smoking, vaping and use of e-cigarettes are not allowed in the seating area or inside Canal Park. Access to the designated smoking areas can be found by the Dog Pound concession stand down the third base line and outside Bridgestone Gate.

Strollers are allowed at Canal Park and may be stored under guests' seats. Strollers may not block rows, aisles or stairways.


Canal Park has 25 suites located on the National Interstate Insurance Suite Level. A limited number of suites are available for nightly rental. For more information, call (330) 253-5151.



Tailgating is not permitted in City of Akron parking lots.


RubberDucks tickets can be purchased in person at the RubberDucks box office during regular box office hours, between the hours of 10 am to 4 p.m. on weekdays when the team is on the road. Tickets may also be purchased over the phone by calling 330-253-5153 during office hours and also online via All sales are final, refunds and exchanges are not permitted.

Assurance Tickets - When you purchase a RubberDucks Assurance Ticket, you are purchasing an exchangeable ticket that provides flexibility to change the game you will attend. Assurance Tickets ($4 extra) are exchangeable for a ticket of equal or lesser value to a different game within the same regular season based on availability. Assurance Tickets must be exchanged an hour prior to the first pitch of the game at (330)-253-5151 or by visiting the box office. This is a great option if you think your plans or numbers may change. There are no refunds on any ticket purchases. Single game tickets can only be exchanged to a different game if they are Assurance tickets.

Single game printed tickets cannot be replaced if lost or destroyed. Please keep all tickets away from extreme light and/or heat. If printed tickets are stolen, please file a report with the local police department. When the Canal Park Box Office receives the report, a duplicate ticket can be issued. Any questions or guest concerns regarding refunds/exchanges, contact a box office supervisor at 855-97-QUACK.


Ticket vouchers are exchangeable online. Tickets will NOT be held via phone orders. An exception is made for non-profits who have received a VIP package option.


The 60-minute tour provides an insider's look at Canal Park and RubberDucks baseball. Tour stops may include the RubberDucks clubhouse, press box, visitors' clubhouse, dugouts, on-deck circles, and suites. On those tour days that coincide with baseball games, certain areas may have limited or no access.
